Taryn Malzard - 'Radius' Exhibition

Not only are the majority of works in the exhibition featuring scenes from within the radius of the artist's schoolhouse studio, but also many of the works are based on a series of pastel artworks that as individuals are delightful, but when placed side by side create an almost panoramic view.

Big Sister, Little Brother
| Details: |
Big Sister, Little Brother invited the audience into a world of trickery and vanity where they meet bossy big sister, Rita, and naive little brother, Archie, on the run from their past. Through physical story-telling we meet a big-headed Emperor, a foolish chief-monster and an exquisite Empress in a vast palace full of clothes. When everything goes wrong, whose fault is it? Like an brother and sister, the dynamics of their sibling relationship is played out to a hilarious and heart warming aplomb in this highly successful comedy for children. Based on the fairy tale of 'The Emperors New Clothes', Big Sister Little Brother is a slapstick comedy for children about sibling rivalry, echoing classic comic duos of the past and leaves the audience with a heart-warming message about families.
